Nieuwsflits | De ‘verrassende’ terugkeer van volatiliteit

Beleggers zijn in de afgelopen jaren in slaap gesust. De aanhoudende stroom van kapitaal dat door het beleid van centrale banken de economie in is gepompt, vond en vindt vooral haar weg naar financiële markten. Koersen van aandelen en obligaties zijn gestaag opgelopen en kleine koersdalingen waren vooral aanleiding om in te stappen of bij te kopen.
Als een grote rollende golf waarop een surfer wordt meegevoerd naar het strand, zijn beleggers meegevoerd op de baren van de zee van kapitaal. Een golf die qua lengte en duur de meeste beleggingsprofessionals heeft verbaasd, is vorige week met een klap op het strand neergeslagen.
